Academic Activity Center

The Academic Activity Center of SJTU is located at its Minhang campus, close to the Zizhu high-tech park. It is adjacent to S4 Highway to the east and Metro Line 5 to the west, 45 and 90 minutes’ drive to Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport.

The Center comprises 139 standard rooms and business suites as well as more than 20 deluxe garden suites. It is also an ideal place to accommodate conferences, business activities and academic events with five small-, medium- and large-sized conference halls. Delicious cuisines are offered in its spacious Chinese restaurants and fashionable cafeterias. Facilities and services such as all-weather central air conditioning, cable TV system, international and domestic long distance calls, wide-band, and safe deposit boxes are provided to make our guests feel convenient, comfortable and warm.

Xuhui Campus

Faculty Activity Center

The Faculty Activity Center of SJTU is located at its Xuhui Campus, close to the thriving Xujiahui shopping district and leisure places such as Xujiahui Green Land. You can enjoy convenient transportation provided by the metro network and bus transport systems. It takes twenty minutes’ drive to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and direct Airport Line to Pudong Airport is available nearby.

The Center now has 90 standard rooms and 23 deluxe suites equipped with 24-hour hot water supply, central air conditioning and internet access. Its luxurious academic lecture hall and small meeting room can accommodate 80 people and 15-40 people respectively for conferences and events. Its high-end Juxiange Chinese Restaurant contains 200 seats in the hall and seven elegant private rooms, and its cafeteria also provides a comfortable dining environment. Ticket reservation, tourist consultation and printing and fax services and a souvenir store can be found in its shopping and business centers on the first floor.
